On July 11, 2018, Diane Seltzer Torre participated on a training panel before 55 staff mediators and 14 Alternative Dispute Resolution Coordinators with the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.  Her panel focused on the twenty year anniversary of the launch of the EEOC’s Mediation program, and the panelists discussed insights acquired over the years on issues including how attorneys and parties evaluate whether to participate in mediation; what parties seek through mediation; what parties value in a mediator; and how mediation has evolved and changed over the past two decades.  Ms. Seltzer Torre represented the Charging Party who participated in the EEOC’s first mediation held under the EEOC’s expanded program.
